Love this portrait in the new Vanity Fair of fashion's brightest stars. Must say it's nice to see some Asian American faces like Phillip Lim and Richard Chai. Marchesa's Georgina Chapman is so gorgeous and she deserves extra kudos for being able to handle Harvey Weinstein.
Congrats to Dani Levy and everyone at Daily Candy for thinking of it first. Did you hear Comcast is buying them for $125 million? I'd sell Las Angelenas for $1,250!Congrats to Dani Levy and everyone at Daily Candy for thinking of it first. Did you hear Comcast is buying them for $125 million? I'd sell Las Angelenas for $1,250!
I'm working on a brasserie story for USA Today at the moment so that means sampling L.A.'s best. TK and I both loved Anisette in Santa Monica. The decor is breathtaking in how authentic it is, the place was packed (with French natives too!) and the food was outstanding. Charming chef Alain Giraud even made us these little cheese puffs that were to die for. Sadly we were too full to enjoy dessert. Next time!
Boa Steakhouse in West Hollywood celebrates 8/8/08 for 88 days with an amazing deal for two. Indulge in a four-course dinner (including their signature steaks and favorite sides like garlic whipped potatoes and mac 'n cheese) for just $88.08. Considered good luck in Chinese culture, the number eight is the sign for infinity turned on its side. This offer runs through October 3.
